Today, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin spoke with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan over the telephone

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan invited Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to take part in the third summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, which is scheduled to be held in Istanbul on June 8 of this year. Putin accepted this proposal with gratitude. They also agreed to hold a bilateral meeting during the Russian prime minister's forthcoming visit.
During the conversation, Putin and Erdoğan also discussed the urgent issues related to trade and economic relations and to the situation in the region.
