Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signs an executive order to issue a federal subsidy to Urals Instrument Making Plant

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed Government Executive Order No. 814-r of May 20, 2010 to extend a 623.8 million rouble federal-budget subsidy to the Urals Instrument Making Plant in Yekaterinburg to prevent the company's bankruptcy. The plant will use the money to clear its debts evaluated as of January 1, 2010, including overdue taxes, duties and other compulsory payments which are not subject to restructuring under the established procedure, as well as other monetary liabilities under effective court rulings.
