Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends greetings to participants and guests of the 8th Tomsk Innovation Forum

The message reads, in part:

"You have gathered again in Tomsk to discuss current issues in the development of Russia and its regions. You are going to look at modernising the country's economy, strengthening its high technology sector and carrying out forward-looking social and economic programmes.

Many Russian regions have already gained positive experience of applying innovations and thus take the lead in this process, becoming the centres of distributing unique ideas, technologies and developments.

I'm sure that the exchange of ideas during the forum will be productive, and that you will identify the priorities and areas for further cooperation and realisation of far-reaching interregional projects."
