Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of condolence to the Secretary of the General People’s Committee of the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmudi, in connection with the plane crash at Tripoli Airport

The message reads, in part:

"I was deeply saddened by the message about the crash of the Afriqiyah Airways plane at Tripoli Airport, which claimed the lives of dozens of passengers and the crew.

"On behalf of the government of the Russian Federation, please extend my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who perished in the tragedy."
