Prime Minister Vladimir Putin greets participants and organisers of the 9thYouth Delphic Games
The message reads, in part:
"Since the start, your spectacular Games have won great popularity and become a real talent and knowledge festival. The current Delphic Games are devoted to the anniversary of the Great Victory and the immortal heroism of the soldiers who won the freedom and independence of our Fatherland in a violent struggle.
"I am sure that the Games will become a significant event commemorating the Victory, as well as help to nurture patriotism and morality among young people and leave bright memories for the guests and participants.
"Young artists, musicians and painters from many Russian regions will display their achievements and have the opportunity to develop their careers.
"I wish you good luck."
