The message reads, in part:

"Building a sophisticated intellectual property market, delivering effective and reliable measures to protect the rights of its applicants and improving the enforcement of copyright laws are among the major contributors to the innovation development and complex modernisation of the economies of Russia and of the other CIS countries.

I hope the forum will help strengthen our interregional and international business contacts and attract intensive investment in high-tech projects with potential."
