Prime Minister Vladimir Putin holds telephone conversation with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk

Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk and the entire Polish nation regarding the death of Polish President Lech Kaczynski in a plane crash near Smolensk.
Putin informed Mr Tusk of the circumstances of the crash based on the latest information gathered by Russian agencies.
Vladimir Putin and Donald Tusk agreed to remain in close contact and to speak over the phone again in a few hours after Russian Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu and Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin provide more detailed information from the scene of the crash.
