Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to Voronezh Region
During his visit to Voronezh, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin toured the Sozvezdiye Group, one of the leading R&D companies in the radio communications industry, which develops command systems and communications units for the armed forces and law-enforcement agencies. He chaired a meeting to discuss re-equipping the Russian Armed Forces with cutting-edge arms and military machinery to enhance their command, reconnaissance and communications capabilities, and met with Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexei Gordeyev. The prime minister also visited the Voronezh Aircraft Joint Stock Company (VASO) to familiarise himself with the company’s products, including the new Russian plane Antonov An-148.
